His thin frame received a body scale score of only 1 out of 9, which is the lowest score that a dog can have before death. It is unimaginable that someone would starve a puppy and allow him to suffer slowly.
We vaccinated, microchip, perform dentals as needed and have also performed orthopaedic surgeries, cherry eye surgeries, tumor removal, and other medical procedures as needed. Once a dog enters our rescue, he or she remains our focus for the remainder of their lives. We adopt them to forever homes on a contract with a strict return policy. Some dogs also receive a dental cleaning when medically recommended. Our goal is to find the best and most appropriate home for each individual dog. When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
